THE DO LAB

Based in Downtown Los Angeles, The Do LaB is an ensemble cast of creatives ranging from artists, event producers, lighting designers, djs, constructors, welders, costumers, musicians, and the performance troupe Lucent Dossier. Since 2000, The Do LaB has been dedicated to treating experience itself as the artform. Their exceptional annual events–including the Lighting in a Bottle Music Festival–and jaw-dropping, large-scale art environments, have been attracting a devoted following among the West Coast’s underground creative community, and around the world.

SHRINE

Shrine is a self taught artist who has painted over sixty interactive murals around the world, and over fifty murals in Los Angeles.

He has painted numerous restaurants and retail store interiors and exteriors including La Luz De Jesus Gallery, The Soap Plant, the first five Houses of Blues and many others. Shrine also paints cars, furniture, and shoes, and does paintings on wood-framed glass windows.

He has created two large-scale temples made from trash at Burning Man. Shrine has had many art shows over the years, and he performs with Lucent Dossier.

SG09 welcomes the debut of Symbiotic Creations at the main stage. Comprised of in-house insomniacs and experienced mad scientists, we have embarked on a journey to create massive, mindbending atmospheres through patience, hard work, dedication, and sheer insanity.

Central to the mission of SC is the illustration and revelation of the absurd and the paradox while maintaining a style and elegance that accents the natural beauty of the surrounding environment.
