CAR CAMPING PASSES:

To drive your vehicle to your campsite, rather than parking it in the field and then setting up camp elsewhere, you must purchase a car camping pass for $60. This pass is required if you intend to move your vehicle for any reason once inside the event. One car camping pass is also included with cabin rental.

RVs, Large Vehicles, Trailers and Spaceships…

All of these (and anything else with wheels that can fit an upright table and chairs inside, at our discretion) must purchase a 100$ Large Vehicle Pass before the event. We have a limited capacity due to lots of trees and art installations getting in the way.

All paths eventually lead to Route 120…

*Route 120: Follow signs to Yosemite. Route 120 makes a left turn in Oakdale, then right at Yosemite Junction, and bear right to stay on the 120, then left when it leaves 49, and turns left up Priest Grade. Continue on 120 through Groveland. Ten (10) miles after Buck Meadows, turn left on Evergreen Road. Follow Evergreen Road seven (7) miles to Camp Mather.

FROM THE WEST (S.F. Bay Area): Highway 580 to 205 to Route 120.*

FROM THE NORTH: Take I-5 or US-99 10 miles south of Stockton to Manteca. Turn EAST on Route 120.*

FROM THE SOUTH: Take Highway 99 North to Merced and exit at “G” Street, turn right and go north. G Street goes out toward the foothills and becomes Snelling Road. At the end of Snelling Rd, turn right onto 59 N and pass through the small town of Snelling, then make a left onto 59 North, aka La Grange Road. 11 miles later, go right on 132 and go through the town of La Grange and on to Coulterville. Jog left on 49 then immediately right onto County J132 in the middle of Coulterville (used to be J20 also known as Greenley Hill Road). J132 ends on Highway 120. Make a right onto highway 120 and proceed approximately 15 miles, then turn left on Evergreen road. Follow Evergreen Road 7 miles into Camp Mather.  Note, J132  is rather narrow and twisty, and may not be suitable for RVs, you may wish to go farther up 99 and take Route 120.*

FROM THE Monterey Central Coast: Go towards Hollister, and take 152 over Pacheco Pass. Stay on 152 through Los Banos and 14 more miles, then turn North on 59 to Merced. In Merced, turn right on 13th St just before the freeway, go 3 blocks and turn left onto “G” Street north. Follow the ’south’ instructions above.

FROM THE EAST: There are three main routes:

East Route 1. (Freeways, all weather) Take Interstate 80 or US 50 to Sacramento, turn south on US 99. At Manteca, 10 miles south of Stockton, turn EAST on Route 120.*

East Route 2. (May not be suitable for large vehicles) Take US395 to 108 (Sonora Pass), go over Sonora Pass to Jamestown, turn south on route 49 to 120, and follow Route 120.*

East Route 3. Take US395 to 120 (Tioga Pass), go through Yosemite National Park (entrance fee required), and exiting the NORTH gate at Big Oak Flat. A mile outside the park entrance, turn right (north) on Evergreen Road, follow it 7 miles to Mather.

Camp Mather is 8 miles (13 Km) from Yosemite Entrance and 20 miles (32 Km) from Yosemite Valley at an elevation of 4600 feet (1400 m).
