In over 30 years as collaborators, Alex and Allyson Grey have developed a global following for their unique visions of the universe. This husband and wife team have forged a dynamic partnership translating spiritual and mystical experiences into complimentary tangible manifestations, while maintaining distinct visual identities.
The Greys’ recent work has explored the subject of consciousness from the perspective of Universal Beings, represented with an unmistakable fusion of ancient esoteric symbolism and personal inspiration. The international psychedelic and consciousness communities have embraced the Greys as vital, although perhaps unintentional, mapmakers and spokespersons for the visionary realm. XAVI, originally from Washington DC, and Arizona, now lives and creates in San Francisco CA. Working in a wide variety of mediums including painting, clothing design, multi-media sculpture, space design and beyond, his art is an exploration of the Human Imagination, with deep influences from Nature, Graffiti Art, digital design, and indigenous art and design from many cultures.
Always re-designing anything and everything that is crying out for further expression of itself, XAVI is ever drawn towards expanding the possibilities and opening spaces up for new life to emerge. Combining various inspirations into new and novel combinations, XAVI creates hybrid forms that seek to balance all energies involved into works of harmony, beauty and optimal flow.
